Our client, a multinational Pharmaceutical company, is currently seeking to recruit a Systems Administrator. You will be directly reporting to the Regional LeadJob PurposeResponsible for providing infrastructure systems, CRM applications and users support as a single point of contact across the Gulf region and assisting in applications and systems administration.Key Accountabilities IT Systems Management (LAN, WAN, CRM and Telephony)Daily management of all IT systems (LAN, WAN, CRM, telephone) and application Windows servers and related systems, this includes Single face of contact and accountability for all CRM systems operations in Saudi and Gulf markets, including agents Work with appropriate colleagues and external vendors for ensuring the CRM systems operations Responsible for daily management of application Windows servers and ensure maintenance is performed on all IT systems as required Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware and software problems Performing and coordinating effective installation and performance of advanced operating system hardware and software on servers Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account maintenance, escalation to vendors and training Provide voice infrastructure support for the call centers agents in regional sites Plan and perform appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to IT Maintain, monitor, analyze system components and make recommendations regarding computer system security, monitor network, computer and disk utilization Maintain user access to the systems by adding new accounts, disabling accounts and resetting passwords Coordinate with accounting to ensure that service bills are paid on time Maintains systems documentations and updated network diagrams Desktop Support Provide 1st-level desktop and telephony support to all agents as the primary point of contact Manages the communications between the users and external support vendors, track opened issues and share the resolution progress with the agents. Manages users mailboxes and resolve issues related to Outlook Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktops and software. Works with Help Desk staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients. Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software and order computer supplies. Keeps a log of all reported incidents. Servers and Data Backup and Restore Operations Maintain and monitor the backup infrastructure daily Respond to requests for file restores and backups Ensure tape libraries have enough tapes for the backup jobs Monitor backup jobs and report any failures to the Backup team Produce monthly reports on backup operations
